AIGA – at Stout

Stout’s student group is funded by the university to host events, further the education of students and to get actively involved in the design world outside of Menomonie.

AIGA – the Minnesota chapter

AIGA members include graphic designers, as well as professionals in allied fields such as printing, prepress, photography, illustration, paper manufacturing/distribution, and writing. AIGA Minnesota was founded in 1977 as the Minnesota Graphic Designers Association. Today, AIGA Minnesota is one of the largest chapters in the AIGA, serving nearly 1,300 members in Minnesota and the upper Midwest.

AIGA’s mission is to advance designing as a professional craft, strategic tool and vital cultural force. Founded in 1914, AIGA remains the oldest and largest professional membership organization for design, and is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) educational institution.
