Cody Hartleben // Graphic Design Director

Hello my name is — Cody Hartleben – That’s /hɑː(r)t/ lay/ben/ in case you were wondering. I am the Graphic Design Director for the year and I hail from the small town of Wittenberg, which is smack dab in the *middle of Wisconsin. (*Points to the middle on back side of hand). I am in my 5th year of school here at stout pursuing a degree in Graphic Design with a design concentration, but my interest also lie very much so, in the interactive world.. I enjoy bikes of all kinds, motorcycles, coffee, my handsome basset hound Ody and traveling. I love good conversation and am willing to talk about anything interesting with anyone and everyone. If you have any questions about the year or about anything at all, please don’t hesitate to ask! Likewise if you have any contacts or ideas for the semester, talk to me, we have really useful resources on campus that we can tap into, to make it happen! Hope everyone has a great year and I will look forwards to seeing you all at the meetings— we have some really great things planned for the year!

Dana Christoperson – Marketing/Multimedia Director

Dana Christopherson, Mmm Director!

Hi all! I am your 2013-2014 Marketing/Multimedia Director. I am a third year student in the graphic design program. I love typography and am obsessed with hand lettering (currently working on doing 365 days of hand-lettering). I use to travel a lot in high school all around the states, for competitions or mission trips. I love New Orleans, I’ve been there three times. I go on long pinning sprees, often to procrastinate. I sell beer to rich old golfers during the summers. And this past summer I was an intern at a small marketing firm in Milwaukee. I am a dog lover, but have sadly never owned one. Terrified of heights, but was a gymnast for 16 years and a pole-vaulter for three years. My hometown is Waukesha, WI, which is right outside of Milwaukee. I am always at Summerfest, Brewer Games, and many other festivals held around the area

If there is anything you need, or any questions you have, feel free to contact me! I am looking forward to being a part of your AIGA experience this year!

Chalsey Falk – President

Chalsey Falk, your president!

As the 2013-14 AIGA student pres, I will be running and managing all of the awesome meetings that we have in store for you! A little bit about myself… I am in my third year here at Stout with a GD: Interactive Concentration and a minor in Spanish. My strongest desires and niches lie with photography and illustration.

Last semester I studied in Spain and traveled Europe for six months. IT WAS AWESOME, so if you have any questions about study abroad, ASK! Heather, Kat, and I have all took advantage of different Stout programs. I am an avid promoter, so I’m sure you will hear about it! Along with my travelling bug, I enjoy biking and experimenting with new cuisine.

From: Fargo-Moorhead (MN/ND border), Work: UW-Athletics, Siblings: 2, Pets: 3 + Allegra (Kat’s dog), Interned: Photo editor and design intern at Haney’s Photography, Traveled out of US: Costa Rica, Morocco, Portugal, Italy, Croatia, Czech, Hungary, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Ireland, and England (13 countries, 4 continents) and I plan on more next summer hopefully!

This year I really want to push collaboration. I am really excited to get everyone engaged and make the most of our time as a student club on campus. Hopefully we do our job to inform and entertain this year! Looking forward to getting to know a lot of awesome new creatives!

Rachel Bachmeier – Secretary

As your secretary this year, I am a sophomore majoring in Graphic Design with the design concentration and Photography minor. Taking notes and other assorted organizational tasks are my speciality.

I recently made the trip across the pond this summer to Paris and London and got the travel bug so this January, Guatemala… here I come! This summer I also made a trip up to Bayfield, WI and had an awesome time sea-cave kayaking with my family. I love laughing, listening to pandora, watching sunrises and sunsets, my beta fish (Charlie!), making jewelry, and eating vanilla ice cream.

This year is my first year going to Design Camp and I’m super stoked. I love people who are passionate about what they do and am all about inspiration. I’m excited for what AIGA has planned this year and I think you should be too, it’s gonna be exceptional. Feel free to say hi and let me know if you have questions, advice, or help with anything!
