About the Officers – Theresa

Hello! My name is Theresa Ptak and I’m the Vice Pres. for the year! I hail from Madison, Wisconsin and am in my 5th and final year at Stout. Boooo. Kinda sad. I don’t think I’ve loved doing anything as much as designing, being inspired by other great designers, and really throwing myself into projects. It’s addicting, really :O) However I’m very pumped to be nearing senior show in the spring. Recently I’ve been inspired by old newspaper ads, retro signage, american illustration, and small town history (Menomonie included. Pretty rad guys) I really enjoy jewelry making, chalkboard typography, garage sales, black coffee, slab-serif fonts and dried mango!  Haha.

So hey, Keep me posted with questions/comments throughout the year, we want your input to make AIGA the best it can be!

Kat Manor. Your Secretary.

I am a: Talented clay manipulator. Paper folding extraordinaire. World traveler. Sushi lover. Zip line enthusiast. Experienced goat hoof trimmer. Threadless.com alumni club member. Murder mystery reader. Master dog snuggler.

Hello! I am currently in my sophomore year at Stout. I am majoring in graphic design with a concentration in interactive media and am minoring in photography. I am a world traveler. I have been all over the US, to Mexico countless times, and to China once. For Winterm this year I am on track to be going to Ecuador and the Galapagos.  I am a Threadless.com alumni member. I regularly submit my work to threadless.com and have had one design printed on tee shirts. It is named “Paper Zoo” and is currently sold on their site. I am a talented clay manipulator. My family owns and runs a pottery studio. We offer classes and sell our work at various events. Last of all, I am a master dog snuggler. I spend most of my time at home cuddling with my pup, Allegra, and spend all of my time at school thinking about her.

Don’t hesitate to ask me questions. I am looking forward to seeing you at the AIGA meetings and events!

About the Officers – Maddy

Heya everybody! My name is Maddy and I come from Apple Valley, MN, a nice little suburban town about half an hour away from Minneapolis. I’m a Junior in the new Graphic Design and Interactive Media program, with a concentration in Interactive Design (yeahhh code nerds!) I also have a minor in Spanish and minor in Photography. I have an obsession at any and all times, and my current obsession just happens to be Doctor Who. I also love traveling, reading, writing poetry (and sometimes rap), embroidery and of course, the internet. I am seriously psyched out of my mind for AIGA this year. It’s gonna be off the hook! So yeah, that’s me. Let’s be friends! I’m super excited to meet all of you.

About the Officers – Franny

Hello world, my name is Franny Van Eyck and I am in charge of keeping all your treasures! I’m a sophomore this year in graphic design. My home is in Menomonee Falls which is about 20 minutes from Milwaukee. My ideal day would consist of sitting outside in extremely windy weather watercoloring or drawing. Then maybe take a ride on a cat bus to Japan. My favorite things include the color red-orange, hip-hop, donuts, and having uncontrollable hair. Now that you know a bit about me, I can’t wait to know some more about you!

About the Officers – Brittany

Hello! I’m Brittany, the Marketing Director this year. I hail from the small town of Marinette, Wisconsin, which is about an hour north of Titletown, USA. Yup, you guessed it. I’m completely obsessed with the Green Bay Packers. Football season is my favorite time of the year! I am also quite fond of cookies, moose, glitter, antique stores, cold weather, and farmer’s markets. Oh, and coffee. You can never have too much coffee. I can’t wait to start meeting every week & getting to know everyone. It’s going to be a fun year!
